Thanks to all of you who came out for our 2018 corn maze season and enjoyed our fall attractions! The maze is now closed for the season but our farm stand is open Monday – Friday 10-6:30 and Saturday & Sunday 9-6:30. PLUS, visit us in November & December for Christmas trees, decorations, and more!
We’re pleased to announce the theme for our 2018 corn maze, opening September 22nd! This year’s maze theme is Journey to the Center of the Earth! Descend to the fiery center of the Earth from an erupting volcano, passing buried dinosaur bones along the way. This Jules Verne classic is the inspiration for this theme that explores geology. The maze is a circular design with a volcano and fiery center. Learn more about our corn maze and other attractions >

C&C Reading Farm is pleased to welcome Spookley the Square Pumpkin™ to our farm this year!
C&C Reading Farm is partnering with Spookley the Square Pumpkin, the Official Spokes-Pumpkin for National Bullying Prevention Month, to raise awareness for bullying prevention. We’ll feature Spookley’s Storybook Trail in our mini corn maze during our fall season! Spookley’s story will help visitors, young and old, understand the importance of being tolerant and kind. When you visit our farm, you’ll also have the opportunity to pose for photos with a giant, inflatable Spookley and purchase the Spookley book or plush toy at our farm stand.
Spookley was first introduced to millions of children in the book The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, in which he is shunned by all of the round pumpkins until a mighty storm threatens to destroy the entire pumpkin patch and only Spookley, with his unique shape, can save the day. This fall, Spookley is returning as the Official Spokes-Pumpkin for PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, which sponsors National Bullying Prevention Month activities. “The culture of bullying won’t end until people across the country take action and show children and teens that they care,” says Julie Hertzog, director of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, which is a division of PACER Center, a national organization. “We love the way Spookley touches the heart and the mind with his message of tolerance and acceptance.”
C&C Reading Farm is one of many family farms across North America that is embracing Spookley and his story. “Spookley is an adorable character with a wonderful message,” says Farmer Pete and Miss Lynn, Farmer/Manager. “We are delighted to share Spookley with our visitors to raise awareness for National Bullying Prevention.”
