We’re sorry, but Thanksgiving turkeys are now SOLD OUT.

We have partnered with Dasilva Farm to offer you delicious, pasture-raised, non-GMO, chemical-free turkeys!

Dasilva Farms’ pasture-raised turkeys are rotationally grazed on their chemical-free pastures. In conjunction with their pastured diet they are also fed a non-GMO project verified grain. They are raised with no growth hormones, antibiotics, or synthetic feed. They get to forage, eat the grassy greens along with the insects and bugs. This in turn adds nutritional benefits to the meat, gives it great flavor, and adds to the quality of the meat overall.

Welcome back, Spookley!

C&C Reading Farm is pleased to welcome Spookley the Square Pumpkin™ back to our farm again this year!

C&C Reading Farm is partnering with Spookley the Square Pumpkin, the Official Spokes-Pumpkin for National Bullying Prevention Month, to raise awareness for bullying prevention. We’ll feature Spookley’s Storybook Trail in our mini corn maze during our fall season! Spookley’s story will help visitors, young and old, understand the importance of being tolerant and kind. When you visit our farm, you’ll also have the opportunity to pose for photos with a giant, inflatable Spookley and purchase the Spookley book or plush toy at our farm stand.

Spookley was first introduced to millions of children in the book The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, in which he is shunned by all of the round pumpkins until a mighty storm threatens to destroy the entire pumpkin patch and only Spookley, with his unique shape, can save the day.  This fall, Spookley is returning as the Official Spokes-Pumpkin for PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, which sponsors National Bullying Prevention Month activities. “The culture of bullying won’t end until people across the country take action and show children and teens that they care,” says Julie Hertzog, director of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, which is a division of PACER Center, a national organization. “We love the way Spookley touches the heart and the mind with his message of tolerance and acceptance.”

C&C Reading Farm is one of many family farms across North America that is embracing Spookley and his story. “Spookley is an adorable character with a wonderful message,” says Farmer Pete and Miss Lynn, Farmer/Manager. “We are delighted to share Spookley with our visitors to raise awareness for National Bullying Prevention.”
