What share options do you offer?

Effective for 2017, C&C Reading Farm’s CSA will now ONLY be available in the form of a convenient Harvest Card, which members can use at any day or time during business hours of the growing season to purchase vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers, honey, free-range eggs, milk, and more! Members can start using the Harvest Card on opening day. (The Harvest Card is similar to the Premium CSA Farm Card offered in 2016.)

Will I get the same thing every week?

No, you will not get the same items every week. The items you receive will depend on what is in season. We pick our produce at the peak of its season to ensure maximum ripeness and nutrient content.

When and where can I pick up my weekly share?

Effective in 2017, members may use their Harvest Card any day during business hours. Members no longer need to worry about coming on a certain day at a certain time or missing shares when they are out of town.

What happens if I am unable to pick up my share?

Effective in 2017, you no longer need to worry about picking up your share on a certain day!

What if I receive one item I do not like or want?

Effective in 2017, with our new Harvest Card, you can choose exactly what you would like each time you visit!

What are your growing practices?

We pride ourselves in providing fresh, responsibly grown produce that is of the highest quality, exceptionally healthy, delicious, nutritious, and safe. Our traditional and certified organic produce is Commonwealth Quality certified, and Baystate Organic certified. It is picked daily at our farms. This ensures superb freshness and flavor.
